SOLD! Seaside Stained Glass Artwork by Madison Wood
Madison Wood is an Austinite with a wide array of artistic and life experiences. She graduated from James Bowie High School in 2014 and went on to get her BFA in Sequential Art with a minor in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2018.
After graduating from SCAD, Madison participated in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World in Florida where she made the connection to go and teach English in China. While living and teaching in Beijing, COVID enabled her to change teaching subjects, and she was able to teach art to first through eighth grade for the remaining years she was there.
Madison returned to the United States in 2024 and began learning the art of stained glass soon after. She has now been accepted into the University at York for a master’s program concentrating on Stained Glass and Heritage Management. She begins her studies in fall 2026 to repair and maintain magnificent stained glass works of the past for future generations. In this work, she hopes to focus on the restoration and conservation of medieval glass works.
