Family-to-Family Giving
We know that the holidays are about more than just gifts. But for families who may be in a difficult season of life, or having to make decisions about paying medical bills, keeping the heater on, and getting food on the table, the thought of buying and giving gifts for their family can seem unattainable.
That’s why Adopt-a-Family is so meaningful to the families we serve and donors alike! Instead of having to make choices about buying gifts and making payments, YOU are able to ease that burden in a special way.
Gifts from Adopt-a-Family go to families of all sizes that are part of our programs and receive services. Their kiddos may be receiving physical, speech or occupational therapy through our Early Childhood Intervention program, learning to navigate the journey of parenthood with Healthy & Fair Start or Nurse-Family Partnership, benefiting from counseling through No Estás Solo, or facing life-altering diagnoses with the support of our CARE program.
Our nurses, therapists, case managers and parent educators support the entire family’s well-being all year round. During Adopt-a-Family, and any time you give to Any Baby Can, your family (or team) can make a difference in the lives of these local families.

Schenk Family
I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate the holidays than making someone else’s holiday bright. We feel very fortunate in life that we can celebrate without worry; we know many others do not. We value the opportunity to help make someone else’s holiday great. As a mother of three I also want to instill in my kids a love of giving back.
I love Any Baby Can’s mission around establishing a strong foundation for kids, which enables them to grow and reach beyond.
It is always super easy with a list and steps to drop off. I delegate a lot of the shopping to get my kids involved. Who better to know what to buy for a teen boy than another teen boy?!
Alix Wilson & Team
We are doctors, nurse practitioners and PAs at Dell Children’s in the Pediatric intensive Care Unit. As pediatric healthcare providers, we witness the many challenges families face in accessing resources to ensure their children stay healthy and reach their full potential. Trying to arrange time off from work, getting transportation, and arranging care for other family members means many families cannot get this help. Any Baby Can meets families where they are and provides in-home education, support, and therapy.
Participating in the Adopt-a-Family program is a small way we can help their mission.
Adopt-a-Family is a joyful way to help families, and Any Baby Can makes it easy. It is a meaningful, fun, easy way for you or your organization to help families in our community.

My siblings and I participate in Adopt-a-Family as a way to support other families during the holiday season. We do this every year in lieu of getting gifts for each other.
We all have children and know the importance of providing a special holiday season for all families. I learned about Any Baby Can through the Chapman Family and was so impressed by the focus on developing skills to ensure long-term family success. Any Baby Can is dismantling the societal hurdles that keep so many families from realizing their full potential.
Adopt-a-Family is a wonderful way to participate and share the holiday spirit. We love reading about the families and making sure we get special gifts for each person!

I've been a donor to Any Baby Can for ten plus years. While the money to the organization is important, I felt like I wanted to impact families directly. I began Adopt-a-Family while my daughter was still under my roof - it was a good way to provide to others in a meaningful way. Each year, it's been a very joyful part of the holiday time for me. I can remember the excitement of my childhood, opening presents, to the same excitement with my child. To be able to give that feeling to others is the best part of the holiday season.
What happens in a child's life impacts their future. To me, Any Baby Can goes the extra mile to make sure the families are assisted in multiple ways. Adopt-a-Family is just one of those ways for us to participate, and I highly recommend it as part of a multi-pronged effort to assist Austin families.
