PROGRAM DETAILS

The best time to improve a child’s ability to grow and learn is before the age of three. Any Baby Can provides Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) services including family-focused intervention. ECI works to help with the developmental needs of children between zero and three years old. Parents may obtain a physician referral or request an evaluation directly.

We offer occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, specialized skills training and medical case management. This video explains what these pediatric therapies mean.

Raising a child with developmental or physical challenges can be confusing and isolating. We meet families where they are: in the comfort of their home, the child's school, or through virtual visits. ECI uses parent coaching model. This approach helps families support their child's learning and development, during and between sessions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Children from birth to 36 months
  • Child has a developmental delay, medically diagnosed condition, or auditory or visual impairment
  • Resident of Hays and select areas of Travis County. Search for the ECI program provider in your area using the Health and Human Services search tool.

Services

  • Developmental screenings and comprehensive assessments
  • Occupational, physical and speech therapy
  • Specialized skills training to promote learning within everyday routines 
  • Feeding therapy and nutrition services
  • Individualized case management
  • Help with doctors, schools, community resources and other family services
  • Audiological and vision services available
