No Estás Solo
We all have times where we face difficult situations, emotions and relationships. Our counselors can help you develop skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, and self-advocacy. No Estás Solo (NES), which means “you are not alone” in Spanish, is a counseling program offered to Any Baby Can clients who are currently enrolled in one of our home visitation services. We have English and Spanish speaking counselors available to work with you. NES has a specialized division for maternal mental health for clients who are pregnant or have a child younger than 18 months old.
What services does NES offer?
Any Baby Can offers home-based in-person short-term counseling services including, screening and risk-assessment, psychosocial assessment, individual or group counseling, family counseling, couples counseling and/or support groups. We provide a safe space to explore and process life’s challenges with the support of a licensed therapist, including parenting, relationships, family dynamics, major life changes, sadness, worry, stress, self-esteem, grief, loss, and more. Counseling sessions are provided weekly or bi-monthly at the client’s home or other safe space of their choice.
Who is eligible for services?
Any individual receiving services from any other Any Baby Can program or any member in the household, are eligible to receive NES short-term counseling services.
Must be currently enrolled in a program with Any Baby Can, and expected to remain with Any Baby Can for at least two more months after counseling begins.
Household members of a parent or child enrolled in Any Baby Can services are also eligible.
We use a low-cost sliding scale to determine the cost of sessions, and accept some types of insurance, so that cost will not keep you from receiving counseling.
