Programs and Services at Any Baby Can

Any Baby Can strengthens families so children succeed. With services that meet clients where they are – at home, work or school – our team provides in-home therapy, parent education, mental health counseling, medical case management, resource navigation and other support services.

Guidance for First-Time Moms

The Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program partners with first-time mothers to bring answers, guidance and confidence to this transitional stage in life. Beginning in early pregnancy, pregnant moms are matched with a free, personal nurse to guide them through pregnancy and becoming a parent. Must enroll before the 28th week of pregnancy and be a resident of Travis or Williamson County.

Child Development

The Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program is for families with children ages 0-3 with developmental delays, disabilities or certain medical diagnoses that may impact development. Services support families as they help their children learn and grow. Areas served include Southeastern Travis, Hays, Llano and Blanco Counties.

Parent Support

The Healthy and Fair Start program is for parents in Travis County with children ages 0-4. Using the Parents As Teachers model, our team partners with families to nurture and educate their children so they may reach their full potential.

Family Education

The Family Education Program provides parenting classes in English and Spanish throughout Travis and Williamson Counties. The classes use an evidence-based Nurturing Parenting curriculum, and give parents the tools, skills and confidence to raise a healthy family. We also provide childbirth classes.

Medical Case Management

The CARE/Candlelighters program serves families with children ages 0-20 who have a special healthcare need or cancer. Parents receive support in navigating resources and connecting to community programs. Counties served include Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, Burnet and Bell.

Auditory Services

The Children’s Hearing Aid Texas (CHAT) program provides financial assistance and case management for auditory services and hearing aids for children in Central Texas. The child must be 0-12 years old and live in Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Llano, Travis or Williamson County.

Teen Prenatal and Parenting Support

Tandem is a collaborative program that uses the Parents As Teachers model to promote the health and well-being of teen parents who receive prenatal care at People’s Community Clinic. Partners include Austin Child Guidance Center, LifeWorks, and People’s Community Clinic.

Counseling and Support Groups

Clients enrolled in one of Any Baby Can’s programs may receive in-home counseling sessions through the No Estás Solo program. Any Baby Can’s counselors work with children and families to develop skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, and self-advocacy. For new mothers who are not current Any Baby Can clients, we offer a maternal mental health support group.

Basic Needs

Families enrolled in one of Any Baby Can’s programs may qualify for Family Support Services, including case management and financial assistance for basic needs, like rent, utilities, medical equipment, and transportation. Counties served include Travis, Williamson, Blanco, Llano and Hays.
