The Joy of Family-to-Family Giving

Gifts certainly are not the only part of the holiday season. The holidays are about family, togetherness, sharing gratitude and reflecting on faith and tradition. But for families who may be feeling overwhelmed or having to make decisions about paying medical bills, keeping the heater on, or getting food on the table, the thought of buying and giving gifts for their family can seem unattainable. And let’s be honest, most kids have the same love language… receiving gifts.

That’s why Any Baby Can's Adopt-a-Family campaign is so meaningful to our client families. Instead of having to make choices about buying gifts and making payments, YOU are able to ease that burden in an expressive, special way.

In 2019, our amazing donors adopted 169 client families! These are families large and small that are part of our village and receive services in some way. Their kiddos may be receiving physical, speech or occupational therapy through our Early Childhood Intervention program, learning to navigate the journey of parenthood through Healthy & Fair Start or Nurse-Family Partnership, benefiting from family counseling through No Estás Solo, or navigating childhood cancer or other life-altering diagnosis through CARE, Candlelights or Children’s Hearing Aid Texas.

Our nurses, therapists, case managers and parent educators support the entire family’s well-being all year round. During Adopt-a-Family, and any time you give to Any Baby Can, you make a difference in the lives of these local families.
