Auditory Services

Approximately 4 in every 1000 children are diagnosed with hearing loss by age 12. Oftentimes, insurance does not cover the cost of assistive listening devices. Any Baby Can provides financial assistance and case management to help navigate all available resources and meet early intervention goals.

Children’s Hearing Aid Texas

If a child has hearing loss and does not receive adequate support they can experience challenges with speaking, reading, school success and social skills. Any Baby Can’s Children’s Hearing Aid Texas (CHAT) program assists families every step of the way.

CHAT Provides Financial Assistance for:

  • Comprehensive audiological assessments and exams necessary for hearing aid clearance

  • Hearing aids, earmolds, batteries, and hearing aid repairs

  • Services required to fit and maintain hearing aids

  • Cochlear implant replacement parts, warranties, and mapping sessions

  • Some assistance towards the cost of cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing aids

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Child’s age is 0-12 years; or child is over 12 but has been newly diagnosed with hearing loss or is a first time hearing assistive device user

  • Families at 200% Federal Poverty Level or less are eligible for free services; families up to 400% Federal Poverty Level are offered services on a sliding scale

  • Child lives in Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Llano, Travis or Williamson County

  • Services are not completely covered by child’s insurance
