President and Chief Executive Officer
Andy Miller joined Any Baby Can on July 14, 2014, and brings a wealth of experience in the nonprofit sector. Most recently, he co-founded MillerStephens & Associates, a strategic consulting practice, and previously served as Executive Vice President of Operations for the LIVESTRONG Foundation. Miller completed undergraduate work at Southwestern University in Georgetown and is a graduate of Leadership Austin. He received his Master’s degree in Health Science Education from the University of Florida, and has built his career developing strategic partnerships and award-winning programs to improve the public’s health.
Chief Financial Officer
Chris joined Any Baby Can in January of 2015 and has loved every day since. A native of Houston, Chris moved to Austin in 1998 to attend the University of Texas at Austin and simply never left. Like many Austinites, Chris loves tacos, Barton Springs, complaining about the traffic, and bemoans the gentrification of the east side. Before Any Baby Can, Chris spent 13 years working (and bleeding burnt orange) at the big university downtown overseeing financial affairs, grant administration, business operations, and information technology for various world-class academic departments.
Chief Program Officer
Alexandra Alfau has led the Any Baby Can Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Program since 1994. Alexandra is a physical therapist by trade and has worked in the ECI Program since 1988. Alexandra has had substantial influence on ECI during her tenure at the agency. Her experience includes client outreach and assessment, home visitation, implementation of program activities, supervision of 30+ employees, managing compliance standards, collaboration with community agencies, medical billing strategies and program advocacy. Alexandra also serves as a child development program consultant for UNICEF in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Chief Communications Officer
John Branham joined Any Baby Can as Chief Communications Officer in December 2014. Most recently, John served as the Public Relations and Social Media Manager for TransUnion, the national credit reporting company. Previously, John managed the marketing communications efforts of several nonprofit associations during his tenure at SmithBucklin, the world’s largest association management firm. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Iowa and his Master of Arts degree in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University, where he then served as adjunct professor for two years.
Chief Development Officer
Eric Scott has over a decade of fundraising and most recently served as Director of Donor Relations and Planned Giving, where he oversaw Donor Stewardship, Planned Giving and Special Events for the Seminary of the Southwest. With a background primarily in Individual Giving and Fundraising Events for the arts, Eric has run highly successful campaigns at prominent and highly respected cultural institutions in both Austin and New York, including Roundabout Theatre Company, the Irish Repertory Theatre and ZACH Theatre.A native of Austin, Eric lived and worked in New York City for over decade after earning his BA in Drama from the University of Texas in 1998. He and his wife returned to Austin in 2009, where they raise their two children.
